A new version of the best free blog client Windows Live Writer has been released

More precisely, an intermediate Technical Preview version of this free client from Microsoft has appeared, which leaves behind, if not all competitors, then all free ones for sure. Recall that we have already written about the Beta version of Windows Live Writer in this blog, and today we will focus on improvements in the new preview version.

The first thing that catches your eye is a very beautiful and thoughtful interface. Also, it's nice that now, when adding a new blog, you will be asked "to post a trial post or not" to determine the blog styles. Previously, a test post was published necessarily, which is not very acceptable for large blogs.

Of the new interesting features, there are also:

• automatic upload of the published video to Soapbox (analogous to YouTube from Microsoft);

• several new styles of picture frames;
• applying effects to images and applying "watermarks";
• creating automatic links, as in Word;
• calculation of the number of words and characters
