If you went on a long trip by car and on the road you needed to wash some clothes, then we suggest you use the method proposed by John Steinbeck in his book "Traveling with Charlie". Put dirty clothes in a large bucket (20 liters) with a lid, fill with water and add a little detergent. Close the bucket tightly. Put it in the trunk or in the cabin, as it will be more convenient, the main thing is that it stands steadily and does not tip over. That's it, now you can go on.
You got a semblance of an old washing machine. The water will churn, whipping the detergent into a foam.
After a few hours, stop, drain the dirty water, wring out the laundry and put it back in the bucket. Pour it with clean water. You have enabled the rinse cycle:) Repeat it as many times as necessary to finally rinse out the remaining soap. When you arrive at your destination, pull the rope and dry the laundry.
When washing, do not put too much detergent. If you care about nature, it is better to use biodegradable detergents. The most affordable of which is the usual household soap. Rub it on a grater or scrape it with a knife and you will get a wonderful hypoallergenic washing powder. In addition, it is wonderful for washing the most difficult stains.
Another tip. If you want to wash some small things, for example, socks, then use a five-liter plastic bottle instead of a bucket. It closes more tightly, and takes up less space.
This method of washing allows you to save time if you wash yourself, and money if you usually give the laundry to the laundry.
