YouTube blogger NL Tech took all three smartphones of the Galaxy S24 series, which Samsung showed last week, and compared their autonomy and performance in benchmarks. It is noteworthy that the blogger took the basic S24 and S24+ with the Exynos 2400 processor and the Ultra model with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This combination is available in Europe and Asia this year, whereas in the USA all models are sold with Snapdragon.
Before starting the tests, the author fully charged the smartphones to 100% and adjusted the brightness to one level. He noted that all three devices are running on the pre-release version of the firmware, since Samsung sent him the devices before the release. Usually, before the start of sales, manufacturers release an update to fix the causes of the main complaints after preliminary testing, but in this case Samsung has not yet managed to do this.
Between tests, the blogger let the smartphones cool down so that the load from the previous benchmark would not affect the results of the next one. Here are the results in popular programs.

An important point: due to the different screen resolutions, the Galaxy S24 was tested at a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, while the other two were at 3120 × 1440 pixels.
The Solar Bay test was used — a 3D graphics test with ray tracing. It consists of 20 minute passes, at the end the points for the best and worst passes are marked.
A benchmark that checks the autonomy of smartphones when performing everyday tasks: surfing the Internet, writing texts, processing photos and videos, and accessing files on the device.
Of course, synthetic benchmarks do not reflect actual usage, but the results help to see how different performance and autonomy are within the same smartphone line.
