All filters and tools available with the update can be applied exclusively to JPEG images for now. Support for RAW images will be added later, but for now the developers of Google Photos recommend using Snapseed. Currently, the range of its settings looks richer, if not professional.
Among other innovations, it should be noted a smart mounting system capable of creating videos even in isolation from specific dates. The service will independently select the images closest to the subject, after which it will glue them into a single film with musical accompaniment.
