As we expected, Apple presented two new iPhone models at its event, one of which is the iPhone 5C. Months of rumors have been confirmed that the Cupertinos are working on a cheaper version of the iPhone, which received a plastic case in 5 color variations: green, white, blue, red and yellow.
iPhone 5C got the same iron «stuffing » as the usual «five»— A6 processor, 8-megapixel camera with flash, 4-inch Retina display. By the way, «the classic» five came out of the Apple lineup — Cupertinos will only sell iPhone 5S, 5C and 4S.
The real feature of the iPhone 5C was the ability to personalize the gadget as much as possible with the help of color cases. They are available in 6 colors — the same as the 5S itself, as well as in black. Thanks to these cases, you can create interesting color combinations. The price for cases is $ 29.
The price of the iPhone 5C itself is quite predictable: for the 16 GB version with a two-year contract, they ask for $99, and for the version with 32 GB of memory on board, $199. It will be interesting to find out how much the unlocked 5S, which will not be tied to a specific operator, will cost.
Pre-order for the iPhone 5C will be available this Friday. It will be on sale on September 20 and will be available in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the UK and China, which Apple first included in the unspoken list of countries of the first wave. The start of sales in Russia has not yet been reported.
