Xiaomi announced a new gadget of the Mijia line — a "high-speed" hair dryer for drying hair High Speed Hair Dryer H501. He can dry short hair in a minute, medium length — in 3 minutes, long — in 5. At the same time, it should work quite quietly due to the noise reduction system.
The power of the motor reaches 110 thousand revolutions per minute. This creates an air flow at a speed of 62 m/s — 5 times more than that of conventional hair dryers. The hair dryer also has sensors for temperature control to protect the hair from overheating. The temperature during operation will not exceed 57.5°C.
There are two switches on the handle. The first allows you to choose the speed (medium or high), and the second — one of four temperature modes: cold air, warm, hot or alternating hot and cold. The LED panel on the back of the device will help you understand which mode you have turned on: it lights up in different colors depending on the selected settings.
The device weighs only 345 grams — "less than a cup of coffee," the manufacturer notes. You can also add a nozzle to create a more directional air flow — it is included in the delivery package.
Xiaomi High Speed Hair Dryer H501 was estimated at 299 yuan (≈3,400 rubles). In China, the novelty will go on sale on May 31, the release of the version for the international market has not yet been announced.
