It's kind of strange that this happened right now, and not a year or two earlier. The most popular and, in my subjective opinion, the best photo hosting Flickr got a version for working with the iPhone, which raised the value of both the photo hosting from Yahoo! and the phone from Apple to a qualitatively new level!

More recently, Flickr fans had to pay for programs to work with popular photo hosting:

In order for the reader to understand the delight of the new application, it is worth describing my user pattern. On Flickr, I keep a lot of family photos in private and public albums. I am also interested in the opinion of friends who follow the twists and turns of my life right there, leaving comments and posting their photos. Also, sometimes, I would like to upload photos directly from my phone to a photo hosting service. Well, if GPS tags are indicated for them, then you won't have to ask for more.

And all this is given to me by a new Flickr client. I can look at the comments and respond to them. And the mobile download of a newly taken photo is just wonderful — you can set the name, tags, and description, choose a storage set or create a new one, choose the privacy level of the photo card, and most importantly, attach a GPS tag from your iPhone.

Well, a two-year-old child was delighted after I sat him down with the phone, asking his favorite "buses" in the search. 20 minutes of time with zero investments were mine :)

The interface of the program gives special pleasure — thoughtful, beautiful and very modern.

For those who are not the happy owner of the iPhone, I recommend the mobile version of Flickr m.flickr.com — she's very cool too.
