This action was also supported by residents of other cities and countries, and now, despite the fact that there is still quite a lot of time before the start of the Olympic Games in Sochi, we can all greet their approach by ringing the bells on September 25 at exactly 13 o'clock Moscow time. It is at this moment that 500 days will remain until the start of the Winter Olympics.
In order to support this action, even those who do not have a bell at hand could, Rostelecom, together with the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, created the Welcome Sochi 2014 application for Android and iOS, by installing which you will turn your smartphone into one of the Olympic bells. To do this, just launch the app and simply shake the smartphone in your hand. In addition to the bell, the app has a built-in counter of the days before the start of the Olympiad.
