Xiaomi showed a new kitchen gadget of the Mijia series: Smart Steam Small Oven 12L (where 12L is the volume in liters). This is a miniature oven for the kitchen, on which a full-size one does not fit. Thanks to temperature control with an accuracy of 1℃, it is suitable for baking.
In terms of power, it is inferior to full-size models (1,300 watts), but the manufacturer notes that in terms of volume, this model is more efficient: it gives out 108 W/l, whereas standard 32-liter ovens from the same Xiaomi give out only 50 W/l.
An interesting feature of the device is the steam "revival" of dried pastries. It is enough to pour 5 ml of water into the container at the bottom and turn on a special mode so that the steam makes the bread or croissants fresh again. Since it is assumed that the device will often be used for baking (including as an analogue of a toaster), there is a sliding compartment for crumbs at the bottom.
