Mobile Chrome has learned how to fix errors in links

Google announced 8 ways we’re making daily tasks more accessible / Google The Keyword 8 new features of its services on iOS and Android. They are designed to simplify the lives of people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairments.

The Chrome browser now supports correcting typos in links. If you start entering the site address with an error, Chrome will automatically correct it and take you directly to the desired site. Starting today, the feature is distributed on iOS and Android, earlier this year it appeared in the desktop version of the browser.

Google Maps received four innovations at once:

• In the application, you can use the "Lens" to enable navigation in the area with voice acting on the screen. The smartphone will describe what is around and mark the distance to different objects. It is already available on iOS, it will be available on Android later.
• The app will be able to build a route without stairs — it will be useful for people with strollers or heavy luggage.
• The "Maps" on Android Auto now display establishments equipped for people in wheelchairs — a similar feature appeared on iOS and Android earlier this year.
• Establishments now receive a special die if their owner is a person with disabilities.

The script launch bars for Google Assistant for the main screen can now be customized: add your own image and resize. Google notes that this will be useful for people with cognitive impairments.

Finally, the Magnifying Glass app has appeared on Google Play, available on Pixel 5 and newer (except Pixel Fold). It literally turns a smartphone into a magnifying glass. Using a smartphone camera with a zoom, it will help you see the fine print or the house number. You can adjust the color filter, brightness and contrast in the application.
