19 free GTD apps for Windows, Mac and Linux

We have already written about many applications that help you work in GTD style. The time has come when it would be nice to list the free applications that are currently on the market.

• Chandler
  Chandler is an application for Windows, Mac and Linux. It has many features, including collaboration, advanced calendar and multiple contexts. The only thing that users periodically complain about is the low speed of work.
• Todoist
  This is a web application that is compatible with GTD. Implemented as a task manager with integration with GMail, Firefox and Quicksilver.
• Jello Dashboard
  Jello Dashboard is a plugin for Outlook that allows you to turn the latter into a GTD-oriented task manager. It is very suitable for Outlook lovers, as well as those who are forced to work with it because of corporate rules. On my own, I will add that I liked Jello Dashboard, but periodically it slowed down my system and I moved away from using it.

  As Linux apologists already know, Evolution is not a Lancer, but an alternative to Outlook in the Linux world. In addition to the features that Outlook itself often lacks, Evolution easily turns into a GTD system.
• Actiontastic
  Actiontastic is a small Mac application that attracts with its simple interface. The program is not overloaded, and therefore you will be able to organize the work of GTD and not be distracted by powerful features that sometimes only interfere with business.
• Next Action
  Next Action is based on Google Gears, so it can work offline and is compatible with any OS that Google created Gears for.
• GTD TiddlyWiki
  GTD TiddlyWiki — is an adaptation of the already known TiddlyWiki for the purposes of supporting GTD processes.
• FusionDesk Starter
  We have already written about this program before, it is one of the few free programs of this class for Windows.
• Nozbe
  Nozbe concentrates on supporting collaboration of small teams and supports mobile devices.
• Check Off
  If you are interested in the simplest GTD application, then Check Off for Mac is what you need. The ability to build hierarchies will allow you to create a GTD system without extra effort.
• Beeswax
  Linux is an application that tries to be as useful a tool as Lotus Agenda in its time.
• Thinking Rock
  Thinking Rock is an application written in Java and therefore works wherever there is a full-fledged Java machine. GTD support is implemented here without unnecessary complications and bells and whistles.

  Toodledo is a web application that supports collaboration and mobile devices. You can organize your tasks in a fantastic set of ways.

  Remember The Milk is probably the most popular online application for maintaining a list of tasks. And it's not strange that in the official blog of this service you can find a post that tells how to turn this service into a GTD system.

  This app won't be free in the future, but for now it's free and you can try it all its charms if you work on a Mac.

  Action Tracker is built on the basis of FileMaker Pro and therefore comes both as a database and as a separate executable file, therefore you will not need to buy anything to try.
