The Digital Foundry website summarizes the results of 2023. The experts of the resource called Digital Foundry’s Best Game Graphics of 2023 / DF / YouTube 10 most beautiful new games.
Most of all, experts were impressed by the graphics of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It surprises with extremely high detail and effective use of retracing, which is noticeable even on consoles.
The thriller Alan Wake 2 received silver. Its creators were able to implement excellent lighting with ray tracing, so the picture scares with its realism. According to the DF reviewers, all the locations look incredible, and for this they almost gave the game the first place.
The third was Cyberpunk 2077 in RT Overdrive mode, which also impresses with incredible image quality. The game amazed everyone back in 2020 when it was released, but since then its graphics have become a level higher, experts concluded.

Experts also believe that the remake of Dead Space, Metroid Prime Remastered, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, Jusant and Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon are worthy of mention, although they did not make the final top.
