As part of the first day of WWDC, Apple announced the long-awaited MacBook Air with a 15-inch display. Externally, this is an enlarged version of the basic 13.6-inch version of the laptop, but with some important improvements.

The screen is 15.3 inches with a brightness of up to 500 nits and the already familiar "bangs", which hides a 1080p camera. The manufacturer called the laptop the thinnest among the 15-inch models — the thickness is only 11.5 mm. At the same time, it weighs less than 1.5 kg.

Such dimensions did not affect the autonomy, on the contrary, it increased to 18 hours. A MagSafe connector is used for recharge. Also on the ends there are two Thunderbolt ports (USB-C) and an audio jack.

Inside is an eight—core Apple M2, which made the novelty up to 12 times faster than the previous model with an Intel chip. Cooling is passive, so the laptop is absolutely quiet. RAM — up to 24 GB, and internal memory — up to 2 TB.

Also available: fingerprint scanner, Magic Keyboard and the latest audio system with six speakers.

The cost of a new MacBook Air starts from $ 1,299 (≈105,000 rubles). Pre-orders in the USA start today, and deliveries will begin in a week.
