The Redmi 12 smartphone, which is supposed to be the development of the main "people's" line of the brand, was accidentally declassified by the Xiaomi Portugal website before the official announcement. The page with the device became publicly available, but after some time it was hidden. The characteristics and renderings, of course, managed to disperse over the Network.
Externally, the device will be similar to its "big brother", Redmi Note 12 Turbo, but the differences in characteristics will be significant, since the basic Redmi 12 is a budget segment model.
The novelty is credited with a 6.79-inch display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. There is an 8 MP selfie camera in the hole. The main module at the rear should include sensors for 50 (main), 8 (wide-angle) and 2 MP (macro).
The battery capacity will be 5,000 mAh with a charging power of up to 18 watts. Among other things: side fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM card support with 4G VoLTE and Android 13 with MIUI 14.
The cost of Redmi 12 will be from 210 euros (≈18,300 rubles). The device will enter the European market in the near future.
