Well-known insider Yogesh Brar reported that the OnePlus 12 smartphone is under active development and will be released in China in December. The global release may occur in a few weeks or months — in early 2024.
According to him, the flagship will have a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a QHD resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and a powerful 5000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
OnePlus 12 will be equipped with a camera with three modules: 50 MP (Sony IMX890), 50 MP with ultra-wide angle and 64 MP with periscope zoom. The sensor of the latter type will appear for the first time in smartphones of this brand.
At first glance, it seems that the new product does not have hardware updates — the screen is the same size as its predecessor OnePlus 11 , with the same resolution and refresh rate, and the use of the next generation chip is the norm. However, the insider notes that these are only preliminary characteristics. In the seven months left before the expected release, developers can still surprise fans of the brand.
