Almost everyone who has tried at least once uses Google services over and over again, and more and more often we want to access and synchronize information from our mobile devices. We are lucky, because Google is easy to use on almost any of the existing mobile devices.

The first step will be setting up Google portals.
Google offers several versions of its pages for mobile devices, each of which is optimized for a specific variety of them:

  • BlackBerry
  • iPhone
  • Android G1
  • Motorola
  • Nokia Standard (Nokia Smartphones)
  • Samsung
  • Sony Ericsson
  • Windows Mobile

Each of these pages contains information about (including video clips) how and what can be tweaked so that everything becomes completely different. The best way is to install Google Mobile Pack.

The second step — Sync GMail contacts

  • iPhone — here you will find instructions on how to set up IMAP access to GMail. This will allow you to manage your mail and contacts in real time.
  • BlackBerry — the BlackBerry GMail version will allow you to write emails in offline mode, sending them when connected.
  • G1 — it shouldn't surprise you that GMail and Android are made for each other, in order to find out how to set up your G1, take a look at the instructions.
  • Windows Mobile Devices— setting up GMail access on Winddows Mobile is not so difficult if you follow the instructions. It is best to use IMAP, this will improve both security and synchronization efficiency.

The third step — Google Calendar synchronization

  • iPhone iPhone Calendar Sync with Google Calendar allows the iPhone calendar to communicate with the Google Calendar. Here you will find the instructions.
  • BlackBerry — Calendar Sync Tool for BlackBerry synchronizes all data of the device's calendar and Google calendar.
  • G1 — Calendar in Android (G1) just works and does not require any settings.
  • Windows Mobile Devices — Windows Mobile Devices calendar is also easily synchronized with Google Calendar.
