Google Docs has almost completely replaced the local installation of some version of "office" programs for me personally. And that's why I liked the article, which lists interesting opportunities that open up when using this product. We have already written about some of them, but repetition is the mother of learning. Upload, download and backup.
- Windows users can be advised DocList Uploader, a small but remote utility for mass uploading files to the Google Docs server.
- Those who do not shy away from Google Desktop will probably like the Google Docs gadget, which makes downloading files very simple: just drop them on the gadget. In addition to downloading, you will be able to search for documents and open them using this gadget.
- Those who prefer Mac OS can recommend GDocsUploader, which is able not only to upload documents, but also photos to your Picasa album.

Tips and Tricks
- If you want to quickly record your expenses, then you can use a bunch of Google Docs and Gmail forms (I do that, by the way). Moreover, you should not limit yourself to expenses and finances in general. You can keep a log, and in general enter any data quickly, directly from Gmail.
- The following advice will probably be useful especially for those who work with tables – turn on full-screen mode by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F.
- In addition, you can organize online surveys and voting, and quickly collect information from customers, suppliers, and anyone in general.
