What is the best way to carry a phone while running

Hand phone holder

I myself have used this option for a very long time. This is a belt made of a pleasant material that does not allow the fastening to slip, even if you sweat a lot. I appreciated its usefulness in Thailand, where for a long run I lost up to 2 kg of weight through sweating. The mount was where I attached it.

At first you may feel discomfort, but it will pass. And this thing does not interfere with the blood flow — the hand does not go numb and does not go numb. It is inconvenient in this version of carrying the phone that the screen is not visible and to check the card, for example, you need to remove the phone. At one time I bought an INCASE case in the Apple Store. It allows you to easily remove the phone, but it is not suitable for all devices, as it has a hard casing.

There are fasteners in which the phone fits like in a bag, and it cannot be reached without unbuckling the belt.

Phone carrying sleeves

Athletes often use separate sleeves for thermoregulation. Usually cyclists are a fan of this — you leave early in the morning (+6 ° C), return in 2-3 hours, and it's already hot. Nike has Nike+ Lycra Forearm Sleeve sleeves with a phone carrying mount. These sleeves allow you to interact with the phone on the go.

Belts, bags and backpacks for carrying your phone

Long-distance runners often use subcompact backpacks, waist bags and special belts to carry high-calorie snacks, water, money, socks and other necessary things.

I often put my phone in a 4-liter backpack. There is practically no access to the device on the go, but I get all the information through headphones, and when the RunKeeper stops, it pauses itself and starts working itself when I move.

Here in such a belt from SPIBelt will not fit much, but the phone will be in its place and will not interfere:

Bags can be very different: small and large, with fasteners for water bottles, with a uniform distribution of weight and without. Just Google it. :)

Special running clothes

Here I will tell only about my experience of buying such clothes. When running short distances, I really like this method of carrying.

Jackets

I have three jackets: Adidas, Nike and Saucony, and they are all different.

On the Adidas jacket, an ideal thing for running in the early morning and cycling, there is a pocket with a zipper in the lower back, where the phone fits comfortably. There is no need to worry that it will be flooded later from the back (this has happened, but not with me), since there is a material on the back that removes moisture and instantly evaporates it.

The Nike winter jacket has side pockets. They are not very deep, but the phone never fell out, even though I was jumping on the ice like a mountain goat.

The Saucony windbreaker jacket has only regular side pockets. Put in such a pocket, the phone hammers on the hips and terribly angers. The jacket itself is in the photo with me above (blue). Save the titles of the same company.

T-shirts

T-shirts are such tight—fitting pants with many advantages, but it's not about them. In Saucony T-shirts, the phone is placed in a pocket on the coccyx under the clasp. It's very convenient, but big iPhones or "shovels" from Samsung won't fit there. My iPhone 4s comes in with a creak, but I don't feel it after that!

Triathlon shorts

Triathlon shorts are the same shorts, but for triathlon. But seriously, they have softeners for cycling (diapers) that do not interfere with running and save the ass from roads made by fools. You can put the phone in the right or left pocket and forget about it. Only then don't pour too much water on it. :)

Phone in hand

If you don't run very much, if you don't want to buy the described fasteners and clothes, then just take the phone in your hand — and into battle! Here you have a map in front of your eyes, and jogging data, and Twitter, if your health allows. :)

And how do you carry your phone on a run?
