This is a new experience that allows you to launch your favorite games directly from the Microsoft Store on Windows.
The new feature will work similarly to Instant Play on Android: if the game supports this feature, then it can be launched without downloading and installing. However, on smartphones, the option only works with small games — up to 15 MB. Whether this will be a limitation on PCs is still unknown.
The company is working with game publishers to expand the Instant Games collection, but specific titles have not yet been disclosed. It is only known that the feature will become publicly available in the coming weeks – an update with it has already begun to spread.
Later this month, the corporation also promises to change the way the Microsoft Store works. The system will allow users to choose on which disks and in which folders they want to install games.
