ImageWell is a great program for working with images

imagewellI quite often have to work with images, primarily with screenshots (screenshots). In Mac OS X, you can take a screenshot using a special Grab program, or by studying numerous hotkeys. However, the built-in tools do not always help out. It is unclear how to get a screenshot, quickly reduce its size, change the file format, add watermarks. ImageWell can do all this and much more.

What I liked about ImageWell:

  • Can change the size of images
  • Allows you to select the file format, image quality
  • It can apply watermarks (both text and in the form of a picture), set various parameters for them (transparency, font, color, location, etc.)
  • Allows you to take a screenshot of both the entire screen and a separate part of it
  • It has a simple editor with which you can add arrows, text bids in the style of comics, etc., which may be useful for explanations
  • Can upload a picture to the photo services Flickr, ImageShack, FTP and WebDAV, etc.

The ImageWell program has a simple and very user-friendly interface, as well as a small size (less than 1 MB). The developer provides both a free version and a commercial one. The latter differs in that it allows you to process several images at once, has an extended library of objects (lines, hearts, stars, etc.), can work with gradients, etc.
