In December, a new application from Google appeared on Android: "Reading Mode". It allows users with visual impairments and dyslexia to customize the display of text for themselves: change the contrast, font size and type, as well as highlight the main thing on the page. The application also has speech synthesis — and now it does not require keeping the "Reading Mode" open for operation.
With Update 1.1, text voiceover is available even when you launch another application or lock your smartphone. At the same time, a media player appears on the notification panel with the ability to rewind or forward and pause playback.

Thanks to this innovation, the application can be used to turn text articles into podcasts and listen to interesting articles on the go.
The version of the "Reading Mode" 1.1 is gradually distributed through Google Play. If the update is not available to you yet, but you want to try the new feature, the current version is already available on APKMirror.
