This small player is made in the style of iTunes (we mean library sorting methods). The main focus is on working with playlists and a music library. Compared to the version I tried half a year ago, the interface has changed for the better, new functionality has appeared. The program uses the library bass.dll , which already speaks about high-quality reproduction. The following formats are supported: ape, flack, mp4, aac, m4a, mp3, mpc, ogg, wav, aif, aiff, wma. The program can edit tags, connect to Internet databases, save playlists of different formats. When playing, you can use a seven-band equalizer, there are mixed playback modes, customizable crossfading.
The interface is minimalistic, flexible in configuration and hidden to the eye. Music files are sorted in the same way as in iTunes, by artists, albums, genres, date, location. The construction of both regular and dynamic playlists is supported. When copying music from a CD, you can choose the output format flack, ogg or lame mp3. There are many additional plugins. The program is open source, free, very undemanding to system resources, can work from a USB stick in Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista without administrator rights.
