One of the main gaming innovations at the PlayStation Showcase presentation, held on the night of May 25, was Assassin's Creed Mirage from Ubisoft. The developers showed a gameplay trailer with traditional mechanics.
The main character Basim quietly deals with enemies and deftly moves across the roofs of the city, overcoming various obstacles. All this in different locations and at different times of the day.
The company announced that the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage will take place this year — already on October 12. The game will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
The second equally loud announcement of the PlayStation Showcase was the game Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It was presented a long time ago, but the gameplay was shown for the first time.
In the 12-minute video, both Spiders were shown, for whom it will be possible to play — Miles Morales and Peter Parker. Moreover, the latter will be able to fight in alliance with the symbiote, that is, as a Venom.
In another trailer, they introduced one of the main opponents, Craven, a hunter who, according to the plot, will be looking for a Lizard, Dr. Kurt Connors.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released in the fall of 2023 on PS5. There is no exact date yet.
