Apple denies battery problems in iPhone

Apple has launched an investigation into problems with iPhone smartphones that exploded right in the hands of users.

The initiator of the investigation was the French authorities, they are interested in how safe the iconic smartphone is. After all, many iPhone owners, and not only in France, complained that their phone screens cracked by themselves. There were only ten people among the residents of France who had such complaints. One teenager, as is known, even suffered an eye injury due to the explosion of a smartphone in his hands.

Apple representatives in a statement to France-Presse reported that at the moment no evidence has been found that the cause of the iPhone breakdown was battery overheating. (And the very number of complaints about problems with the smartphone was not so numerous.) It seems that the break of the screens in the iPhone was not due to the battery, but due to external influences on the phone.

The commercial director of Apple in France, Michel Coulomb, met with the French Minister of Consumer Affairs, Herve Novelli, to discuss the results of the investigation. After the meeting, Novelli informed the press about the current data, but said it was too early to blame only consumers for the mishandling of the iPhone. "According to Apple management, the first results show that the smartphones were not damaged due to a battery defect that led to the explosion. Everything indicates that the explosions were preceded by a blow, which caused the phone screens to burst," the minister said. He also added that in the case of eye damage, the teenager refused to provide his smartphone to investigate the cause of the explosion.
