Those who love sidebar now don't have to upgrade to Vista (XP downgrade)

Not all of us like to use sidebars of all kinds, but still they often allow you to quickly get information about really important events and objects. Many people find the sidebar implementation in Vista successful, and now you can run the same on XP, and it will not be a visual clone, it will be a fully functional side bar, with the ability to use any gadget for Vista.

The installation package consists of two parts, the first of which installs non-XP services and libraries, and the second contains the ported program itself. In order for it to work, I had to reboot my XP Pro. But then it functioned no worse than a side bar on a laptop with Vista HP.

The program leaves a pleasant impression, although it should be noted that there have been slowdowns, but I am not inclined to blame her for this. Try Windows Vista Sidebar for Windows XP if you want to update the old platform somehow.

Sidebar ate about 12 megabytes of RAM on my machine and I don't consider it such a big fee.

I can also notice that the program collapses when you press Win + D, and this is probably the only inconvenience that I found. Win+M, of course, knows how to minimize windows, but does not know how to restore them when pressed again.
