Despite the fact that financial problems have appeared, if not for everyone, then definitely for many, people do not stop living and planning their bright future, so we found it useful to draw your attention to a couple of tools that would help you carefully consider the repair in your home, and the arrangement of furniture after it.
Among my friends and colleagues, there are not one or two of those who have started or are continuing repairs in their homes. Someone is drawing the future on paper, another is making plans in Microsoft Visio, but all these are flat drawings, and I want to imagine how the room will look in volume.
The first of the tools will be Ikea Planner. This is a program for Windows that allows you to build simple models of rooms and, as you have already guessed, fill them with furniture and accessories from Ikea. Not the worst and certainly effective option, but if you don't like Swedish design, you won't like the program.
The second tool is much more versatile, and is designed not so much for such purposes, however, after spending time studying it, you will be able to visualize your dream in detail. I'm talking about Google Sketchup. The program exists in versions for Windows and Mac OS, and mastering it may be useful to you for other purposes. Eventually, it may even turn into your hobby or into a source of income.
I wish you good luck both in planning and in making money for the implementation of plans. And if you don't want to install anything at all, then you can try «Dragonfly» from Autodesk Labs. However, they rightly say that the product is not a complete version.
