Google Chrome mobile for Android is getting an update that adds a button to quickly delete history. It is available in the browser's main menu by clicking the "⋮" symbol to the right of the search bar.
The new menu item is called "Clear History". In the pop-up window, the browser will prompt you to select the time period for which you want to delete everything: 15 minutes, an hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 4 weeks or all the time.
You can delete your browser history, cookies and website data, cache files, authorization data and settings. By default, the history and cache are selected, but by clicking on the "More" button, you can select other information to clear.
In Chrome on a PC, a similar button has long been available in the main menu ("Deleting data about viewed pages"). The quick cleanup window can also be opened by pressing Ctrl+ Shift + Delete (Cmd + Shift + Delete on Mac).
